Looks like each car has its own platform. So if the guy is leaking something, it falls on the platform.

It’s not like 2 ramps and the middle isn’t there, there’s something to fix that. Plus it’s cheaper that way so motorcycles can use it. Although if your bike falls down, it could fall off it too and then your screwed.

Extremely! Tokyo is very tight, parking has had to get very innovative. I have seen the kind you have above there in smaller lots but there are massive automated garages, like a vending machine.

I’ve never parked in one, I’ve watched cars go in and out of them haha. I think the big residence buildings have them. I have actually never really driven when in the city. I lived in Yokohama but I always took the train when I went to areas where these would be. I would think its expensive, any kind of services I’ve paid for in the city isn’t cheap. Taxis are pretty expensive too.
